Hull Design

Who We Are

Hull Design is the newest iteration at The Hull Companies, becoming our third discipline. We are a comprehensive design firm, primarily offering estate design services, with occasional consulting work as well. We also have the capacity to collaborate with Hull Homes on projects, for a cohesive process from start to finish. We are led by Master Builder & founder Brent Hull, a leading authority on historic building methods and classical design. Following his lead, we are students of historic precedent, trained in the details and craftsmanship found in historic homes, and that intentionality shows in our work.

We start with narrative: what is the story of your home? From there, we look to historic precedent, draft preliminary sketches, and shape a vision for what your home could be, while gathering environmental restrictions through ordinances, zoning, and surveys. We design with precision, ensuring every aspect is thought through. A home is the backdrop to our most important moments, and we design with that in mind. By the time our clients begin construction, we’ve delivered construction documentation that specifies every level of detail and choice in their home. Hull Design collaborates with Hull Homes and Hull Millwork throughout the design process for wholistic approach to construction and millwork detailing.
